Position: Senior QA Engineer

We’re now looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join a high-energy product team focused on delivering high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will combine exploratory manual testing with modern test automation practices, driving quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help establish quality standards, promote a shift-left approach, and ensure reliable, scalable, and user-focused products.
The role is based in Poland (Warsaw) – hybrid work 3 days per week from the office.

Responsibilities:
- Perform exploratory and manual testing to validate product functionality and quality
- Design, create, and execute manual test scenarios using the BDD approach and Gherkin syntax
- Identify, analyze, prioritize, and report software defects
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test suites with a strong focus on end-user experience
- Implement and execute regression testing to ensure application stability Prepare quality reports and communicate testing results to technical and business stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and testing strategy
- Participate in quality-focused ceremonies, including Bug Triage, 3 Amigos, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other team members throughout the software development lifecycle
- Promote quality best practices and advocate for a shift-left testing approach within Agile teams
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Test Engineer
- Strong experience in manual and automated software testing
- Practical experience creating product-focused test scenarios using Gherkin and BDD principles
- Strong experience with Java-based test automation and Cucumber
- Experience with Playwright for test automation
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance best practices
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps-oriented quality processes
- Experience using Jira, Xray, and GitLab CI in software delivery environments
- Knowledge of Java, Groovy, and Shell scripting
- Experience with API testing tools such as Bruno
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Good command of English
Nice to have:
- Experience working with Agentic AI technologies
- ISTQB, Agile, or TMAP certification
- Experience facilitating quality-related workshops and ceremonies
- Strong system thinking and continuous improvement mindset
- Experience working on large-scale, complex software products
