Position: Senior Full Stack Developer – Python & Angular

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join an AI-focused product team building applications that support teachers and students in improving learning outcomes. The role is backend-leaning full stack, with a strong emphasis on Python-based services and APIs, complemented by Angular work on the frontend within an existing production-grade system.
You will contribute to features across the full delivery lifecycle—from backend design and implementation through API integration, database work, and frontend enhancements. The environment is product-oriented, collaborative, and centered around delivering reliable AI-enabled capabilities to real users in education.
The position is 100% remote (Poland) with occasional travel (onboarding and workshops) and a B2B contract model.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Build and maintain REST APIs and service interfaces for product features
- Implement data models and database changes in PostgreSQL and NoSQL systems
- Develop and maintain database migrations and schema evolution processes
- Integrate backend systems with internal services and external APIs
- Work with asynchronous processing patterns including queues and background jobs
- Develop Angular frontend features aligned with existing application architecture
- Contribute to AI-powered features by integrating external AI APIs and services
- Write and maintain automated tests across backend and frontend components
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality standards
- Improve observability through logging, monitoring, and debugging of production issues
- Optimize backend performance, database queries, and application responsiveness
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment workflows
- Support reliability, scalability, and maintainability of the application
Requirements:
- Strong experience in backend development using Python
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar API frameworks
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs or equivalent services
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Experience with database modelling, schema design, and migrations
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience working with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with automated testing (unit and integration testing)
- Experience with asynchronous processing, queues, or event-driven architectures
- Ability to develop Angular features within an existing codebase and established patterns
- Understanding of observability practices (logging, monitoring, debugging)
- Performance awareness for backend services and data-driven applications
- Ability to deliver end-to-end features in an existing product environment
- Strong collaboration skills with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
- Comfortable working in Agile environments
- Professional proficiency in English
Nice to have:
- Experience integrating AI APIs or building AI-enabled features
- Interest in AI product development and LLM-based systems

- Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment practices
