Join neXa as a Senior Azure Cloud Architect and take ownership of enterprise-scale Azure architectures in complex, regulated environments. This is a senior, hands-on technical role with a strong client-facing component, focused on architectural leadership rather than people management. You will define cloud strategy, governance, and security standards while acting as a trusted technical authority for stakeholders and delivery teams.

Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee enterprise-grade Azure architectures aligned with Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Enterprise-Scale principles.
- Architect and optimize Azure networking topologies, including Hub & Spoke, Virtual WAN, Private Endpoints, and hybrid connectivity.
- Define and enforce Azure governance standards, including RBAC, Azure Policy, and subscription management models.
- Implement Security by Design and Zero Trust principles using Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, and Azure-native security services.
- Conduct technical audits, architecture reviews, and security assessments of existing Azure environments.
- Act as a technical authority in client workshops, advisory sessions, and pre-sales engagements.
- Translate business, compliance, and regulatory requirements into scalable and secure cloud architectures.
- Support and mentor Azure and DevOps engineers through architectural guidance and technical reviews.
- Take ownership of technical decisions and delivery quality across cloud initiatives.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Cloud / Infrastructure Engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience designing and delivering secure, scalable Azure architectures.
- Strong hands-on expertise in cloud governance, security, networking, and automation.
- Practical experience with AKS, Azure Networking, Compute, Storage, and Identity services.
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g. finance, insurance).
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High ownership mindset, calm authority, and credibility in client-facing situations.
- Azure Architect–level certification.
- Fluent English and Polish.
- Residence in Poland and availability for a hybrid work model.
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) or Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones.
- Production experience with AKS / Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
- Background in technical audits, security assessments, or cloud compliance initiatives.
- Exposure to pre-sales, architecture governance, or consulting on the vendor side.
- Additional certifications in Azure Security or cloud security domains.
