Join neXa as an Engineering Manager and lead multiple engineering teams in building, scaling, and maintaining high-quality technology solutions. Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the technology strategy, contributing to system architecture, engineering standards, and technology selection.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive agile practices, establish processes that enhance team efficiency, code quality, and engagement.
- Partner with product and business teams to deliver impactful solutions and optimize infrastructure costs.
- Provide technical leadership in architecture decisions, code quality, and system security.
- Build and sustain a culture based on trust, transparency, collaboration, and innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of experience managing engineering teams, including cross-functional or distributed teams.
- Proven track record in agile/lean environments with a servant leadership approach.
- Strong people leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching, and motivating engineers.
- Solid understanding of web system architecture (HTTP, REST APIs, cookies, CDN/caching).
- Hands-on experience with modern web technologies: ElasticSearch, PHP, Node.js, React.js, Vue.js.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud infrastructure cost optimization.
- Knowledge of modern DevOps, CI/CD, and observability tools and practices.
