COOKIE FILE POLICY
- The Service does not automatically collect any information, except for information contained in cookie files.
- Cookie files (so-called “cookies”) are computer data, in particular text files, which are stored on the Service User’s end device and are intended for using the Service’s websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time of their storage on the end device and a unique number.
- The Administrator uses the mechanism of “cookie” files (small text files), which during the use of the website are saved by the Administrator’s server on the hard drive of the end device of the Administrator’s website user (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) for the purpose of simplifying and accelerating the operation of the Administrator’s website, e.g. by remembering previously opened texts and reloading them faster. “Cookies” files are harmless to the computer, as well as to the User and their data. Each User can enable or disable them in the settings of their own web browser.
- The placement of “cookies” files is subject to the User’s consent.
- The Administrator may save information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).
- The User may consent to the Administrator storing “cookies” files on their computer.
- “Cookies” files do not collect personal data, do not change the computer’s configuration, are not used to install or uninstall any computer programs, viruses or Trojans, do not interfere with the integrity of the system or the User’s data, are not processed by other websites and may be deleted by the User at any time.
- The Administrator’s website uses two basic types of “cookies” files: “session” (session cookies) and “persistent” (persistent cookies). Session cookies are temporary files and are stored on the User’s end device until they leave the Administrator’s website or disable the web browser software. Persistent cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.
- The following types of cookies are used within the Service:
- “essential” cookies, enabling the use of services available within the Service, e.g. authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication within the Service;
- cookies used to ensure security, e.g. used to detect abuses in the scope of authentication within the Service;
- “performance” cookies, enabling the collection of information on the manner of using the Service’s web pages;
- “functional” cookies, enabling the “remembering” of settings selected by the User and personalization of the User interface, e.g. in terms of the selected language or region from which the User comes, font size, appearance of the website, etc.;
- “advertising” cookies, enabling the provision of advertising content to Users that is more tailored to their interests.
- Cookies are used for the following purposes:
- creating anonymous statistics that help understand how Users use websites, which allows for improving their structure and content, excluding the possibility of identifying the User;
- the ability to log in and maintain the User’s session on each subsequent page of the system, so that the User does not have to re-enter the same data on each subpage;
- adapting the content of the website to the individual preferences of the User and optimizing the use of websites; in particular, these files allow for recognizing the device of the Service User and properly displaying the website, tailored to their individual needs.
- If the User does not want to receive cookies, they can change the settings for cookies at any time. Detailed information about the possibilities and methods of handling cookies is available in the software settings (of the given web browser).
